Sunday / Paper is a collaboration between David Parker and Cole Schreiber.

The duo began their careers working in visual effects at The Mill, creating award-winning spots for brands like AT&T, Skittles, Acura and PlayStation. While designing and executing complex visual effects sequences for countless productions, the team developed a strong ability to communicate with clients, while blending story and visual into a perfect form.

When the duo transitioned to directing, they created Sunday/Paper with the simple idea to “create evocative, beautifully crafted images, showcasing stories that are thoughtful in any and all mediums.”

This idea has led them to direct spots for a number of companies like Honda, Farmers, Beats By Dre, Newport Beach Film Festival, EA Games, Pfizer, and Commes des Garcons.

They’ve also helmed numerous films such as “Rest”, “Light” and “Mission Chinese” as well as music videos for Hooray for Earth and Wise Blood. Their film work has been featured on Vimeo Staff Picks, Atlantic monthly, Yahoo News, Filmmaker magazine, and NPR.  Additionally the team was nominated for the Shots Best New Director Award.

David and Cole currently reside in Los Angeles. In addition to directing, David is the owner and operator of Jane Studios, which represents Sunday / Paper for all commercial projects, and Cole is currently writing a limited series for Warner Brothers, along with a script he’s developed with Lava Bear Films.
